Reservations are for group sites, do not set-up in family campground.
Occupy site assigned at time of Reservation. Please note directions to DH Day.
Group: it is located at a separate site. Post reservation card on site post. No pets allowed. Camper must display their confirmation Card on the number post at their site upon arrival. Must have a minimum of 7 people to camp! First come, first serve Sites are available in the family Campground for parties up to six People. Tents only, no trailers or RV's.
Campground is open year round.
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am
If you do not arrive by 12:30 pm the next day and have not notified the park staff of your late arrival, your entire reservation will be canceled and cancellation fees will be assessed. Please call 231-334-4634. Entrance fees entrance pass required.
No generators allowed.
Roller blades, skates, skateboards are prohibited, bicycles or wheeled devices, except wheelchairs, are prohibited on trails. Entrance pass required per
Vehicle $10 park pass, $20 annual pass: Can be obtained at visitor center,
Scenic drive or dune climb.
Any organization that charges fees to its members must have an incidental Business permit from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore before making a group reservation. For Information, call 231-326-5134.
No sleeping in the parking lot.
Fires in grills or rings only. Do not cut, destroy, damage or remove any standing tree, shrub, or plant.

From Traverse city, Michigan take m-72 west to Empire. Proceed 2.1 miles north of Empire on m-22. Go 4.1 miles north on m-109 to W Harwood Road. Left on W Harwood Road and continue all the way to the end of the road to the DH Day Group campground.
