Dyar Pasture Recreation Area Pass

Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest

Outfitted with a dike and water control system to control water levels, the management of this area enables a healthy and sustainable waterfowl habitat necessary for the continued survival of this wetland ecosystem. Open year around, the area has picnicking and fishing opportunities, a boat launch with access to the Oconee River and Lake Oconee and a short hiking trail. This makes Dyar Pasture Recreation Area a fantastic place for a day of birding, fishing, and appreciating a wetland habitat.

There is a day-use fee per vehicle of $5 per day or $25 for an annual pass. The Chattahoochee-Oconee Annual pass is available for purchase through Recreation.gov and at the Oconee Ranger District Office.
