OLD MINERS MEADOW GROUP USE (OR), Salem, ORDescriptionOld Miner's Meadow is a three acre group use area located along the Quartzville Creek National Wild and Scenic River. There is no host on site and groups access the area through a locked gate. Only one group is allowed to reserve the site at one time. Campsites within the group-use area are not designated, but fires are only allowing in the existing metal fire rings. Ammenities include vault restrooms, picnic tables and fire rings. Groups are required to bring their own potable water and firewood. The roads shown inside the site are gravel. A combination lock will be in place when you arrive.Services & Amenities:
Alerts and Important InformationReservations limited to a five night maximum. Exceeding maximum requires park manager approval - 503-897-2406, Park Manager can be contacted after February 23rd, 2005. No host on site, contact Yellowbottom Campground Host - one mile from site. 2 night minimum on weekends and holidays 4 day minimum advance window for reservations The fee is $30.00 per night Sunday-Thursday and $40.00 per night Friday-Saturday. Old Miner's Meadow is located on the right side of the road approximately 25 miles up Quartzville Road about one mile past Yellowbottom Recreation Site.
