BUCK CREEK (AR), BULL SHOALS LAKE, AR

Description

Buck Creek is open on a first come - first serve basis for the 2009 season, the park is not accepting advance reservations this is due to rehab and construction work being performed in our campgrounds caused by natural disasters.
Buck Creek Campground is located on Bull Shoals Lake in north central Arkansas. Bull Shoals Lake has great appeal to the sportsmen, bird watchers, naturalist, or those who just want to watchers, and naturalist, or those who just want to "get away from it all". Hiking, all types of water sports and hunting in season are featured attractions. This campground offers 39 sites with electric hookups.

The campground is open year round and fees are charged Apr-Sep. Sites

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. range from $12-$16/ night. Group shelters are also available for $40/day.

  • This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. Attendants are on duty from 10am-6pm and the campground telephone number is (417) 785-4313. There is a minimum 2-day stay on weekends (Fri & Sat) and

This park will open April 1, 2007 to September 30, 2007
Reservations are taken from May 17 through September 13; sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside the reservation season.
No all-terrain vehicles, or livestock allowed.
Park attendant is on duty 10am-6pm.
Single site occupancy is limited to 10 people and 2 camping units (1 wheeled unit and 1 tent, or 2 tents).

From Mountain Home, AR, take SR 5 N 24 mi. to US 160 JCT. Travel W on US 160 21 mi to Hwy U. Follow SR U 5 mi. S to US 125 for 5.7 mi. to Buck Creek Park Access Road. Follow signs into campground.
