PIONEER POINT (CA), SEQUOIA NF - FS, CA

Description

Pioneer Point Campground is located 2 miles from the town of Lake Isabella. This high desert campground is located right across the street from Isabella Lake for your pleasure of fishing, water skiing, swimming or boating. A playground in the campground offers enjoyment for kids of all ages.

    The Giant Sequoia Mercantile - the southern gateway to the Giant Sequoia National Monument located at 13247 Sierra Way, Kernville, CA will offer a wide variety of books, maps and gifts. The Giant Sequoia Mercantile will also be offering a variety of camping equipment and supplies making it the perfect place to stop for those last minute items you may have left home.

    Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 1 day in advance
  • Additional $2.00 per day fee for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekends
  • This is a non site specific campground
  • No hook-ups
  • The camping fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and one legally towed vehicle
  • A $5.00 fee per day for extra vehicle will be collected at the campground
  • 6 people per site only
  • Vehicles park in parking spurs only
  • All equipment must fit on pad
  • Quite hours are 10pm to 6am and strictly enforced
  • Firewood must fit inside fire ring
  • Pets must be on a leash at all times
  • No discharging of fire arms or fireworks in the campground
  • No chainsaw use in campgrounds
  • No ATV or ORV allowed in campground

  • No showers
  • No Flush Toilets - Porta-Poties Only This campground has no water, flush toilets or showers. You must bring your own water.

    From Bakersfield take Highway 178 east to the town of Lake Isabella. From Lake Isabella take 155 north about 1.5 miles to Pioneer Point Campground.
