The horse camp underwent significant changes in June of 2012. The old portable toilets were replaced by a new vault toilet, located where the old group stalls were located. There is now a 4 horse stall located at each of the three campsites. These changes have resulted in a reduction in the turning radius in the horse camp. DO NOT bring a trailer longer than 24 feet unless you are sure you can make the turn in the picnic area and you can turn it around in the horse camp.
All horses must have a current Coggins test. Campers are responsible for cleaning their stalls before departure and placing waste in a manure trailer. Fires are allowed in fire rings only.
Important Information: Food storage regulations are strictly enforced and horse feed is also governed by food storage regulations. Campers must have a horse to use this camp. Pets must be on a leash at all times, may not be left unattended and are not allowed on trails.
