The Wood River Area offers three picnic sites, fully accessible trails, fishing platforms and restrooms.  Picnicking, fishing and wildlife viewing are popular activities.

To reach the Wood River Day Use Area travel 20 miles north from Klamath Falls then northwest 12 miles on Highway 62 (toward Crater Lake National Park), finally proceed one mile north on the Sun Pass Road.
