Overview

Located three miles outside of the town of Pine Valley, Utah. Campground has large ponderosa pine trees and is situated adjacent to a stream. Area is shaded. Located near Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness. Popular activities include horseback riding, hiking and fishing. There is a lodge and cafe in Pine Valley. No OHV/ATVs in the campground.

Know Before You Go

This facility has been closed, please make your reservations at Dean Gardner Campground Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. The number of vehicles per site varies by the size of the parking area. For single sites, one vehicle comes with the reservation. With multiple sites 2 vehicles come with the reservations. An additional fee will be collected at the site for extra vehicle.

From St. George, Utah, go north on Highway 18 to Central. Go right on Forest Highway 35 to Pine Valley. Go left on Main Street 3 miles to Recreation Area.
