Directions from Walden: Head north on Highway 125 for 13 miles to and intersection with Hwy 125 and Hwy 127. Take the left turn on Hwy 125. Drive approximately 4 miles and take the right hand turn at the sign for the Routt Access Trailhead. Drive 1/4 mile to the trailhead and river access area.
