Lake Owen Trailhead

Lake Owen Trailhead is the main gateway to the Medicine Bow Rail Trail.  This multi-use, non-motorized trail provides a popular mountain biking route.


Directions from Laramie: Take WY HWY 130 to WY HWY 11 toward Albany, and then County Road 47 to National Forest Service Road 517 into the Forest, past the Dry Park to Forest Road 540.
