Know Before You Go

Site

The use of generators and the idling of engines to recharge batteries is totally prohibited in the Generator Free (aka C) loop between May 15 and October 31. If you anticipate using a generator during that time, please choose a site in the B loop. Reasonable generator use is allowed in the C loop from Nov. 1 to May 14 between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM.

This site meets ADA (accessibility) standards and also offers a 5 amp electrical outlet intended for the purpose of operating medical equipment, e.g. a CPAP machine. Sites with an electrical outlet may be reserved only by calling 865-448-2472 (March 20 to November 30) or 865-436-1261 (December 1 to March 19). These sites will be rented in advance ONLY to persons requiring the electrical outlet, except that they will be rented to other persons requiring an ADA site if all other ADA sites are reserved. Persons desiring to use the 5 amp electrical outlet will be required to show written proof upon arrival of a need to operate medical equipment, e.g. a doctor's prescription. There is no extra fee for electricity.

ADA sites with an outlet are C31 and C57.

Please see the notice at the top of the page regarding use of these sites. ADA sites without electricity are 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, B33, C12, C48, and C50.
