Description

Charbonneau Park is on Lake Sacajawea, which is formed by Ice Harbor Dam on the lower Snake River. The 31-mile reservoir in Eastern. Eastern Washington's scab-lands and black-rock canyons, has great appeal with boaters, upland game hunters and anglers alike. At Charbonneau Park, you can camp along the historic route of Lewis and Clark and view the same buttes and cliffs along the Snake River that Captain Meriwether Lewis wrote about.

    Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 1 day in advance
  • All campers (including those with reservations) must check-in at the Gatehouse before entering campground
  • Reservations require a 2 night minimum stay on weekends
  • Reservations require a 3 night minimum stay on holidays
  • Campsites are $18 - $22/night
  • Overflow camping is $8/night
  • A "PREMIUM" campsite is along the waterfront and does not have full hook-ups
  • Gate is open 6am-10pm daily
  • Recreational vehicle/trailer with 2 tents or 3 tents only per site
  • Tents on lawns must be moved every 2 days
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited by state law
  • "NO WAKE" areas around marina and swim areas
  • The "BOAT RESTRICTED ZONE" on the up-river end of Ice Harbor Dam has been relocated which has set further limitations to boater access near the dam

    From Pasco, WA: Take U.S. Highway 12 eastbound. After crossing the Snake River Bridge take the next left which will be State Route 124. Continue east on State Route 124, through Burbank, WA, and pass the turn-off to Ice Harbor Lock and Dam/Visitor Center. Continue eastbound on State Route 124 and turn left, heading north on Sun Harbor Drive. Follow Sun Harbor Drive for 1.5 miles and take a left on Charbonneau Road which will take you into the park. Campground entrance is on the right side of the park.
