Description

Cordoniz Campground is located at Eastman Lake in the Sierra Nevada foothills about an hour drive north of Fresno, CA. Tall grasses and scattered oak trees cover the rolling hills surrounding the lake. Wildlife is abundant. Local residents include bobcats, golden eagles, mountain lions, hawks, wood ducks, deer, snakes, and bald eagles. Eastman is a designated trophy bass lake.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
2 night minimum on holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving)
The campground is open year round. Codorniz individual sites are $14-$22/night". Wildcat Loop primitive sites (including family equestrian sites) are $10/night. Group sites are $55-$75/night. Equestrian Group Area is $25/night. A maximum of 10 persons, 2 tents and 2 vehicles may occupy an individual campsite. Nearest store and gasoline are 20 miles away. Cordoniz is 30 miles northeast of Madera, 25 miles east of Chowchilla, and 50 miles north of Fresno. From Highway 99, travel east on Avenue 26 then north on Rd 29. Follow signs into the campground.
