COTTONWOOD POINT (KS), MARION RESERVOIR, KS

Description

Cottonwood Point Campground is located on Marion Reservoir just north of U.S. Highway 56 between the communities of Marion and Hillsboro. Thousands of visitors annually come to enjoy the scenic beauty of Cottonwood Point with its easy shoreline access to the water and the abundance of shade around the campsites. Popular activities include camping, boating, fishing and hunting. A special treat for wildlife observers is the Willow Walk Nature Trail. While staying in the campground, you may see white-tailed deer, pelicans, raccoons, and various other waterfowl. Anglers have bright opportunities as channel catfish, walleye, white bass and wipers are the most popular catches of the day.
