From Mountain Home, Idaho, travel north 21 miles along State Highway 20 to the FS 134 road turnoff.  Travel north along the FS 134 road toward Anderson Ranch Dam approximately 6 miles.  At the Dam, turn right onto FS 120 road and travel north following along the Reservoir.  Pass the Evans Creek Campground and continue approximately 4 miles to the Castle Creek Campground.

There is also another route if preferred. This route has more paved road and is less narrow.

From Mountain Home, Idaho, travel along State Highway 20 for 32 miles to the FS 61 road.  Travel along 61 approximately 18 miles to Pine, Idaho. From the intersection at Pine, turn south on FS 128 road and continue until you get to the junction of FS 113 road. Travel a few miles west to the FS 120 road junction. Turn south at the junction and travel 1 miles along FS 120 road to Castle Creek Campground.
