DENT ACRES (ID), DWORSHAK DAM & RES, IDDescriptionLocated in Northern Idaho's beautiful Clearwater Valley, Dent acres Campground on Dworshak Lake is surrounded by forests and abundant wildlife. Dworshak Lake is 54 miles long, hosts kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and small mouth bass fishing. It has excellent water skiing and hunting opportunities.Dent Acres Campground offers 50 campsites with electric, water & sewer hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, pay phone and playground. Nearby is a boat ramp and parking area. A large group picnic shelter (also available by reservation) is located in the area. Alerts and Important InformationFor 2009, campsites at Dent acres are available by reservation from May 21 through September 8. The campground opens to walk-in campers on April 10 and closes for the season on November 30. During the summer park attendants in the campground may be reached at: (208) 476-9029.The road from Orofino, Idaho to Dent Acres Campground is 19 miles in length, 4 miles are steep with horseshoe curves.
