DUTCH JOHN DRAW CAMPGROUND (UT), ASHLEY NF - FS, UT

Description

At 6000', it is located on the shore of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir with a path to the dock. The landscape is a pinyon pine forest and is representative of a high desert community. The campsite has 10 tables,a barbeque and a large cabanna. Public showers are available at Deer Run and Mustang Ridge campgrounds.

*Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.* A per person per day fee will be collected at the campground when the maximum number of people is exceeded. Gate is locked to campsite; Deer Run campground host will give access. Forest Road 695 is good gravel road. No refunds for bad weather. Please bring your own water: no water on site.

FEES INCLUDE ALL APPLICABLE TAXES

A recreation fee is required for all usage outside the campground at Flaming Gorge National Recreation ARea. The per vehicle fees are $5 per day, $15 for 7 days, and $35 per season. Passes available from CG hosts, local businesses, the FS."

Dutch John Draw Campground is located in northeast Utah, about 47 miles north of Vernal UT. Two miles north of Flaming Gorge Dam on US 191, turn west on Forest Service Road 695 for 1 mile. 1 mile south of Dutch John Utah on US 191.
