Description

Granite Flat Campground is located on Highway 89 South one mile from Truckee and a short distance to Tahoe City. This campground is located adjacent to the Truckee River and offer 68 single family sites and 7 walk in tent sites. For the fisherman, fishing is excellent from the banks of the Truckee River. Granite Flat Campground is centrally located to spend a day visiting Stampede Reservoir, Boca Reservoir, Squaw Valley or Lake Tahoe.

Alerts and Important Information

  • Reservations must be made 3 days in advance.
  • 3 night minimum for holiday weekends.
  • Quiet hours 10pm to 6am.
  • Pets must be leashed at all time.
  • Camping fee includes 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. Extra vehicle fee per day will be collected at the campground.
  • All equipment must fit on site pad. Extra vehicle parking is limited to site pad only.
  • No ATV/OHV use in the campground.
  • Fire restrictions may apply during summer months.
  • Bears frequent the area; all food must be kept in approved containers.
  • No usage of firearms, chainsaws or fireworks in the campground.
