HERNANDO POINT (MS), ARKABUTLA LAKE, MSDescriptionThe Hernando Point Recreation Area is located on the east side of Arkabutla Lake, five miles south of Hernando, MS or three miles north of Coldwater, MS. This campground offers 83 campsites and a trailer dump station. The nearby day use area includes one picnic shelter, playground, boat ramp, and numerous picnic tables. Visitors enjoy outdoor recreational activities such as camping, fishing, boating, swimming, biking and spending a relaxing day taking in all that nature has to offer. Bring your family to Arkabutla Lake to enjoy the great outdoors.Alerts and Important InformationThe campground is open year round. Sites are $18-20 per night March 1 - Oct 31 and $16-18 per night Nov 1- Feb 28. Check-in time is 6pm check-out time is 4pm.
