OverviewHighland Ridge overlooks the sparkling Eau Galle Reservoir in western Wisconsin. The area boasts 630 acres of scenery with numerous opportunities for recreation, including fishing, canoeing and plenty of hiking. Horseback riders will enjoy the trails around the lush region.Natural Features:The 35-mile Eau Galle River feeds into Eau Galle Lake, which is surrounded by steep hills and bluffs. The campground is opposite the dam on the north side of the small reservoir. The area is set in a heavily wooded area that provides a welcoming habitat for native plants and animals. Recreation:Hikers can enjoy the interpretive trails, like the Ox Trail that leads to the Northwest Day Use Area. Facilities:Highland Ridge has 45 campsites including seven walk-in tent sites. Showers, trash/recycle station, and playground are all available for campers. Nearby Attractions:Highland Ridge is minutes from a golf course and Crystal Cave, Wisconsin's longest cave. Take County Road B at Exit 24 south approximately 2 miles. Follow highway signs east on County Road N for another 2 miles until it intersects County Road NN. Go south on NN for 2 miles until campground entrance sign, turn right onto Dugan Road.
