From Douglas, travel to Friend Park Campground by taking the Esterbrook Road (Highway 94) south approximately 17 miles, continuing south on County Road 5 for 11 miles then southwest 15 miles on CR 5, and driving on FS Road 671 for two miles. The trail is signed off FS Road 671 about two miles before the campground.
