Know Before You Go SiteThere is a short hike to this cabin. Notes SiteKelly Lake Cabin is a 16'x 18' rustic log cabin built in the summer of 2009. Located on Kelly Lake this cabin contains two bunk beds, a table with benches, wood stove, broom, shovel, water bucket, fire extinguisher, boat with oars, established campfire ring and outhouse. Wildlife include moose, black and brown bears and wolves. Other recreational opportunities include fair fishing for Rainbow Trout. The Kelly Lake Road is at Mile 68.1 on the south side of the Sterling Highway (Alaska Route 1). The parking area and trailhead are located at the Kelly Lake Campground. The cabin is located on the north shore of Kelly Lake. 1/4 mile from the Kelly Lake Campground on Seven Lakes Trail.
