Attention: Kendall Forest Campground, previously known as the Annex, is scheduled to be closed during the 2014 recreation season due to anticipated work on Hatchery Creek. The Corps, in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, are working to reroute Hatchery Creek due to poor and failing conditions of the existing stream. The new stream location will be longer and run past the Annex area. Construction expected during the recreation season will make camping impossible due to road closures and construction noise levels. We anticipate reopening the campground fully for the 2015 recreation season. We apologize for the inconvenience, but feel that our customers will very much enjoy the new stream layout and the added recreational benefits associated with it.
