Description

Lakeside 3 (Group Camp Site) is located 9.9 miles north of the town of Seeley Lake via Highway 83, on the west side of the highway. Reservations are available for this site from the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day, annually. This is the only site available for reservation at Lakeside. Reservations can be made no less than 4 days in advance and up to 360 days in advance. The elevation of this campground is approximately 4100 feet. This site can accommodate up to 25 persons maximum at a cost of $28/nite. The unit includes 1 regular size handicap accessible picnic table and 1 group size (twice as big) handicap accessible picnic table , 1 fire ring & an accessible vault toilet adjacent to the parking areas. The parking area is separated into 3 different areas as follows: 1 spot will accommodate one large and one small camper less the tow vehicle (approximately 20 feet wide and average length of 40 feet long) 2nd spot will accommodate one large and one small camper less the tow vehicle (approximately 35 feet wide and average length of 40 feet long) 3rd spot is just for cars/trucks (like your tow vehicle) and no camping units allowed (approximately 6 full size sedans or regular size pickups will fit in this area) Only as many vehicles as will fit in the designated parking area(s) associated with this Group Camp Site will be allowed under the use of this reservation. No additional vehicles to be parked on roadway. An entry/exit path on the roadway must always be maintained in the event emergencies. This site is monitored by roving Campground Hosts, Forest Service personnel and daily law enforcement patrols. No water is available at this site. Garbage = Pack It In/Pack It Out! Other amenities in this campground include a handicap access vault toilet and interpretive programs at adjacent campgrounds in the area. 5 standard family sites ($14/nite) are also available at this campground on a First-Come First-Served Basis. These family sites are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Parking is limited to the vehicles that will fit on the campsite pad. There is very limited access during late fall thru spring; the entrance road into Lakeside Campground is not plowed. Call ahead for information regarding the Off-Peak Season. 406-677-2233
