LEPAGE PARK (OR), JOHN DAY LOCK & DA, ORDescriptionLePage Park is located at the confluence of the John Day and Columbia Rivers. It is 5 miles from Rufus, OR, and the John Day Dam, and is in a river basin with a highland desert climate. Nearby Rufus has a gas station, convenience stores, restaurants, a post office, and a bait shop. Popular activities include river fishing, swimming, water-skiing, and boating. An abundance of wildlife can be seen, including mule deer, waterfowl, and raptors. Rattlesnakes are present, but not prevalent. Alerts and Important InformationThis campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. No off-road vehicles allowed. Additional non-reservable tent camping available on weekends and holidays for $12.00 per tent per night.
