Description

Methodist Cove Park is located on Harlan County Lake by Alma, Nebraska. Harlan County Lake, with a normal pool surface of 13,250 acres, is the second largest lake in Nebraska. The lake and surrounding land hold great appeal for sportsmen, birders naturalists or anyone wanting to just get away. Methodist Cove Park offers 155 campsites, a shower building/comfort station, a sewer dump station, water hydrants, playground equipment, and a boat ramp.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The park is open year round w/camping available May-Sep. Fees are $10-$14/night. An attendant is on duty. Only one camping unit is allowed per site. Maximum of six people on each site. A day use fee is charged at the boat ramp from April 1 - October 31 for non-campers. Due to low lake levels, park open dates in Methodist Cove may vary in the summer of 2004.
