OverviewMustang Park is a spacious tent campground situated along the sparkling Benbrook Lake in north-central Texas.Wildlife spotting opportunities include barred owl, broad-winged or red-shouldered hawks, bluebirds and woodpeckers. Natural Features:Benbrook Lake is in the Grand Prairie region of Texas, stemming from the Clear Fork of the Trinity River on the southwest edge of the Fort Worth Metropolitan Area. Recreation:Prevailing southwesterly winds on the lake attract plenty of avid windsurfers to the lake. Fishing, hiking, swimming and boating are also popular. The lake record for largemouth bass is over thirteen pounds. Other catches include carp, sunfish and flathead catfish. Facilities:Mustang Park offers 100 reservable campsites, along with one large group picnic shelter with electric hookups. Amenities like flush toilets, drinking water and a dump station create a comfortable camping experience.
