From Rifle, go north on Railroad Ave (Highway 13) to County Road 325. Turn right on 325. Follow the road past Rifle Gap, Rifle Falls, and through Rifle Mountain Park. You will come to the forest boundry and the road will become Forest District Road 832. Continue on FDR832 until you come to a "Y" in the road. Take the left fork to Three Forks. Follow the road to the parking area and the trail head.
