Description

The Preston Bend Campground is a small but very popular area located on the Texas side of Lake Texoma. Lake Texoma is a large reservoir with an excellent fishery and many access points. Boating, swimming, skiing, hunting, bird watching, and lounging on the sandy beaches are the typical pursuits of most visitors. The lake features two wildlife refuges, two state parks, and 23 commercial concession areas dedicated to the enjoyment of over 8 million visitors annually. The Preston Bend Campground is typically occupied by friends and neighbors from far and near. The area features a shower/toilet facility, a boat ramp, and a controlled entrance. There are many resorts and marinas nearby on the Preston Peninsula.
