Description

Redman Campground is located 14 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
This campground is in the mountains with pine and apsen trees, and at an elevation of 8,300 feet. Weather does change quickly and you should expect thunderstorms. Activities include biking, fishing, hiking, and scenic viewing.

Alerts and Important Information

At this time, only group sites are reservable.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites. *Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.* 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. No pets and/or livestock. This is a culinary watershed area and you can be fined for bringing animals into the canyon. An extra vehicle fee will be collected at the campground. No ATV's or ORV's allowed in the canyon. At group sites, site limits are strictly enforced. Extras will be asked to leave, no refunds.

From Highway 215 take 6200 south exit, go eastbound for 1 mile to Wasatch Blvd., take Wasatch Blvd. 1 mile south to junction with Big Cottonwood Canyon Highway (Highway 190). Take left at junction, follow Big Cottonwood Canyon Highway for 14 miles to the Redman Campground entrance.
