OverviewRobert W. Craig Campground overlooks Jennings Randolph Lake, providing a beautiful backdrop for fishing, water skiing and exploring the eight miles of nature trails.A few bald eagles have been known to breed at Jennings Randolph Lake. Bring binoculars for the lucky chance to spot an eagle's nest. Natural Features:The lake spans 952 acres in the rugged hills of West Virginia's Allegheny Mountains. Recreation:At the campground, hang out on the beach or shoot some hoops on the basketball court. Birders will love the Songbird Trail and the High Timber Trail provides 28 varieties of labeled tree species. Facilities:The majority of sites have electric hookups. Amenities include hot showers, a pay phone and a dump station. Horseshoe pits, a playground and a general store with ice and basic food items are at the campground. Big groups can make use of the 80-capacity group picnic shelter. Nearby Attractions:A short mile away from the campground is the North Branch of the Potomac River, renowned as one of the finest trout fisheries on the East Coast. Activities and Amenities
