The Springs swimming and day use areas ARE CLOSED for renovation/construction. The projected end date is undetermined at this point. The camping areas are and will remain open.
This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay onholiday weekends.

• Campground gate is locked at 8:00 pm on weekends during the summer season (1 April - Oct. 31) and 6:00 pm during the week and in the winter (1 November - 31 March).
• Call 352-685-2048 for the gate combination if you will be arriving late: by 7 p.m. on weekends and by 5 p.m. on weekdays and in the winter
• Maximum 2 vehicles allowed per site.
• A fee will be charged at the campground for extra vehicles.
• No motorized transportation (golf carts, scooters, etc.) allowed to operate within the recreation area.
• Visitors who stay beyond check out time will be charged a fee.
• The sites in Full HookUp Area 2 are available for long term reservations during the non-peak season.
• During the non-peak season, extended reservations are available for up to 180 days.

If you are desirous of making long-term (greater than 21 days) reservations in the Non-Peak Season (Oct 16 to April 15), please make your reservation through the Call Centre: (877) 444-6777. At present, the web site cannot accommodate a long term reservation.

Due to the popularity and extended length of winter reservations, you must stay on the site you book in the non-peak season (mid October to mid April). Site switching will NOT be accommodated. From mid-October through mid-April, the only reservable hook up sites are 12 - 31.

Salt Springs is located 35 miles east of Ocala (Interstate 75), 60 miles west of Daytona Beach (Interstate 95), and 95 miles north of Orlando. The recreation area is immediately adjacent to the town of Salt Springs on State Road 19 near the junction of CR 316.
