Please protect the Pacific Northwest from invasive species by obtaining or purchasing your firewood at or near your camping destination. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by buying and burning your firewood locally.

ALL (23) OverviewSituated in Deschutes National Forest, Sheep Bridge Campground offers visitors stunning scenery in Oregon's eastern Cascade region and easy access to an abundance of recreational activities.Located on the banks of the Deschutes River and in close proximity to several wilderness areas, this campground offers a quiet and serene outdoor experience. Natural Features:Many of the campsites offer sweeping views of Deschutes River, a major tributary of the Columbia River. Recreation:Hiking and fishing top the list of recreational activities for visitors to Sheep Bridge. Facilities:Sheep Bridge Campground has 23 large, isolated sites that accommodate both tent and RV camping, however hookups are not available. Nearby Attractions:Visitors can explore wilderness areas, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and approximately 1,600 miles of trails that comprise nearly 2.5 million acres the Deschutes National Forest and the adjacent Ochoco National Forest. (Latitude, Longitude):43.73444, -121.78889 43°44'4"N, 121°47'20"W From Bend, Oregon, go south 26.8 miles on Highway 97. Turn west onto Forest Service Road 43 and continue for 11 miles. Continue onto FS Road 42 for nearly 5 miles, then turn south onto FS Road 4260 and proceed into the campground.
