Overview

East Fork Bear River Campground is nestled right along the Bear River about 35 miles south of Evanston, Wyoming. just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at an elevation of 8,400 feet. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. This campground offers 7 single campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. There are vault restroom facilities available.  The campground is nestled along the Bear River and provides access for fishing. It sits among a thin forest of pine and aspen trees, which provide only limited shade. Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the landscape. The campground has river access for fishing and is near many trails for hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and ATV riding.
