South Sandusky Campground offers 129 campsites, of which 121 have electric hookups, 18 with water and sewer hookups, and 8 non-electric walk-in tent sites. The campground is perfect for Recreational Vehicles and tent camping. Other amenities include a dump station, hot showers, nearby boat ramps, and playgrounds. Golf, trap shooting, and sporting clays are available within minutes of the campground. Boat rentals are available at the Rend Lake Marina and Rend Lake Resort. Other activities include the Rend Lake Visitors Centers, Ranger-led programs, educational programs, environmental education, Rend Lake Wildlife Refuge, picnic areas, and water sports. Hunting is a large attraction to Rend Lake with its many acres of huntable government property adjacent to the parks. Auto touring and "Watchable Wildlife" viewing opportunities abound at the lake.
