From the Mt. Baker Ranger District office in Sedro-Woolley, WA head north on State Highway 9 for 14 miles and turn right onto Mosquito Lake Road and follow for about 9 miles. After crossing the Middle Fork of the Nooksack River, turn right (east) on Forest Service Road 38. The trailhead is near the end of Forest Service Road 38 approximately 13 miles from Mosquito Lake Road.

(Forest Service Road 38 may also be reached from the Mt. Baker Highway SR 542 via Mosquito Lake Road at milepost 16. Turn south onto Mosquito Lake Road and travel 4.8 miles to Forest Service road 38.)
