Description

Taylor Park is located in the gently rolling hills of the Texas Blackland Prairie, in the spring it offers an exceptional array of wildflowers that blanket the landscape. Taylor Park is approximately 14 miles from Taylor, TX and 40 miles from Austin TX. The campground has 48 sites. All sites have 30 to 20 amp services with water hookup, covered picnic table, lantern hook, stand up grills and fire ring. Restroom facilities are available with hot showers and flush toilets. There is a boat ramp with courtsey dock and hiking trail located in the park.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. Not all sites in Taylor Park are reservable. Parking is limited to what will fit on the rented asphalt camp pad (54' X 12'). Entrance hours are 6am to 10pm and single sites are $12/night and double sites are $18/night. The campground is open 1 March-30 Sept. Excess vehicles are required to use overflow areas. Tent camping is permitted at all sites. The maximum number of occupants per site is 8. The maximum number of vehicles for single sites is 2. The maximum number of vehicles for double sites is 4. Double sites only have utilities(elec/water) for one RV trailer.

From Interstate Highway 35 take Hwy 79 east to Hwy 95. Go north on Hwy 95 to FM 1331; go east on FM 1331 for approximately 5 miles to the entrance on the left.
