Description

Located south of Anchorage near the town of Girdwood.
Campground is adjacent to Williwaw Creek.
Restroom facilities are provided.
Begich Boggs Visitor Center is near and provides a beautiful glacier viewing area.
Salmon viewing is a popular activity in August.

Alerts and Important Information

Reservations must be made at least 5 days in advance. Bears are in the area. Food should be kept in vehicles.
