Attention: Use of facility for political events or activities is prohibited.
Off Season Camping Information: September 2, 2014 through September 5, 2014: All campsites will be available on a first come first serve basis (no reservations are accepted). Gate attendants will be available to accept camping payments. September 6, 2014 through September 30, 2014 gate attendants will not be on duty; therefore, camping fees should be paid at the honor vault station located near entrance of park. Camping fees are posted at fee vault station and restroom/shower facilities will be available during this period. Please contact the Lake Texoma Project office at 903-465-4990 x 0 for additional information.
Off Season Camping Information: October 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015. Park will be closed. The nearest Corps of Engineers campground open for off-season camping and boat launching is Juniper Point West or Caney Creek.

OverviewBuncombe Creek Campground is located on Lake Texoma in Oklahoma's Cross Timbers Region. The lake is said to be the "Playground of the Southwest," where outdoor activities like fishing, boating, hiking and hunting abound.
The campground is situated on the northern side of Lake Texoma. Post and blackjack oaks forest the rolling hills of the region. Deer, turkeys, bobcats, hawks, waterfowl and songbirds are abundant around the lake.
Lake Texoma is a large reservoir with an excellent fishery and many access points. Boating, swimming, water skiing, hunting, birding and relaxing on the sandy beaches are the typical pursuits of most visitors.
This campground offers 54 campsites with electrical and water hookups. Other amenities include flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water and paved access. Two boat ramps, a dock and dump station are located on-site.
The lake features two wildlife refuges, two state parks and 23 commercial concession areas dedicated to the enjoyment of over six million visitors annually.
