Trout Creek Campground (MT)

Lolo National Forest

Trout Creek Campground is located off Interstate 90, just 60 minutes west of Missoula, Montana and 10 minutes southeast of Superior, Montnana. The campground is graveled with 12 sites and has a large picnic area. There is no water available or a Camp Host. There are vault toilets, trash services, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground sits by the Trout Creek stream and is shaded and quiet.

Trout Creek Campground is graveled and has vault toilets and trash services. Each site has a parking space, picnic table, and fire ring. There are 12 sites in total which are back in only and can accommodate RV's 27' to 35' in length depending on the site.

Natural Features

The campground resides in the valley bottom and Trout Creek runs next to it. The campground is flat and easily accessible from Interstate 90.

Missoula is 60 miles to the east.

Superior is 7 miles to the west.

St Regis is 20 miles to the west.

Route of the Hiawatha Trail is 50 miles to the west.

Lookout Ski Area/Idaho is 54 miles to the west.

Alberton Gorge is 21 miles to the east.

Recreation

This campground is in close proximity to Heart Lake, HooDoo Lake and the trail system off the state line.
