Open April 1 - October 31. Sites 1-3, 9-18, and 26-29 are available only by reservation. The other eleven sites are available on a first come, first served basis.

Cherry Hill is near the Chattooga Wild and Scenic River, and many miles of hiking trails. Site amenities include centrally-located drinking water, cooking grills, tables and lantern posts as well as a restroom with flush toilets and hot showers.

When you make a reservation, post one of the following on the clip provided at your site: a) Your confirmation letter. b) Your reservation number. c) The name of the person that the site is reserved for.

Know Before You Go
The maximum stay limit is 14 days. If you do not have a reservation, sites 4-8 and 19-25 are available on a first come, first served basis. To camp in one of these sites, deposit $10/night in the fee collection box located at the campground. *Same day reservations can be made at this facility.*
  • Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood at or near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.

From Walhalla, go north 8 miles on State Highway 28. Turn right on Highway 107. Continue on Highway 107 for 9 miles. A sign for Cherry Hill Campground is on the right.
From Cashiers, NC, go south on Highway 107 for 9 miles. The sign for Cherry Hil will be on the left.
