part ofBull Shoals Lake, US Army Corps of Engineers
Status: Open through Wed Sep 30 2015   Season Dates

River Run Campground is in south central Missouri, at the upper end of Bull Shoals Lake. The campground is set in a more river-like environment, where the upper lake is narrower. Bass fishing here is excellent.

Natural Features:

Bull Shoals Lake, spanning upwards of 71,000 acres, is fed by the White River. The river flows from Arkansas to Missouri, and back to Arkansas, cutting through the Ozark Mountains.

Bull Shoals Lake beckons water recreation lovers: anglers, jet skiers, scuba divers and more.

Bird watchers enjoy the lake's active bird populations including herons, osprey and woodpeckers. In-season hunting attracts crowds, too.

The campground offers 32 long, level campsites with electric hookups. Additional perks include hot showers, a playground and a boat ramp.

Nearby Attractions:

The Boston Ferry Conservation Area is a recommended destination, and Branson, Missouri, a city famed for its selection of quality live entertainment, is just 14 miles from River Run.
