Dinosaur National Monument, Green and Yampa River

Fee Guidelines

All permit holders floating the Yampa and Green Rivers of Dinosaur National Monument must pay a $15.00, non-refundable application fee.

Permits awarded through the lottery need to be confirmed with full payment ($185.00) no later than 10 p.m. MST, February 28, 2015 or they will be cancelled.

For low season permits or cancellation permits, permit holders must pay a minimum payment of $15.00 (application fee) when making the reservation. Final payment of $185.00 must be made to the River Office at least 30 days prior to the launch date. Payment must be made either with a credit card by calling the River Office at (970) 374-2468 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by check mailed to Dinosaur National Monument River Office, 4545 Hwy 40, Dinosaur, CO 81610.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made by either calling the Dinosaur National Monument River Office at (970) 374-2468, or emailing Dino_River_Office@nps.gov. You must reference your permit number to make a cancellation.

Refund Policy

If you cancel a lottery launch reservation after payment of fees has been made, we will refund your payment if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to launch date, less the $15.00 application fee. Payment made using a credit card will be credited back to your card. Refunds will be paid to the permit holder only. The refund request must be made through the River Office by calling (970) 374-2468.

There are no refunds for: cancellations within 30 days of the launch date, permits paid with a check, or after the permit has been issued.
