RESERVEAMERICA NAMED PRESENTING SPONSOR FOR NATIONAL WILDLIFE FEDERATION’S THE GREAT AMERICAN BACKYARD CAMPOUT™
WASHINGTON, D.C. & BALLSTON SPA, NY, June 11th, 2007 – National Wildlife Federation (NWF) announces ReserveAmerica as the presenting sponsor of The Great American Backyard Campout hosted by NWF and Outdoor Industry Foundation. Scheduled for June 23, the Great American Backyard Campout is a national event that encourages individuals, families, friends, neighbors, youth and community groups to join campers across the nation for a fun night in the great outdoors.

The Great American Backyard Campout provides an opportunity for everyone to relive -- or to experience for the first time -- how much fun it is to spend a night sleeping under the stars and enjoying the sounds of nature at night. NWF and ReserveAmericas’ collaboration will provide campers the opportunity to select camping locations in National and State parks and gain access to camping essentials, resources, and tips.  ReserveAmerica is supporting NWF’s vision of connecting people with nature and inspiring Americans to protect wildlife for our children’s future.

”We are proud to support the National Wildlife Federation through the Great American Backyard Campout,” remarked John McDonald, Director of Marketing and Business Development for ReserveAmerica “This event is a tremendous way to encourage families to experience camping in their own backyard before planning to visit one of our many beautiful campgrounds throughout the country.”

For more information or to register for The Great American Backyard Campout visit www.backyardcampout.org.  The web site provides packing lists, recipes, camping tips, nature guides, activities and more!  Campers can even sign up on the site to share their campout plans and stories.
