The National Recreation Reservation Service™ (NRRS™) is your one-stop reservation resource for the recreation facilities and activities offered by the US Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and USDA Forest Service. Reserving TicketsYou can reserve the following types of tickets in advance for tours offered through the NRRS™: Individual Tickets - unless otherwise noted, these may be reserved up to 6 months in advance. There are no same day reservations for any NRRS ticketing locations. Tickets may be purchased or picked up on a space available basis on the day of the tour at the facility. *Independence Hall tickets can be reserved up to 12 months in advance. *Carlsbad Caverns tickets must be reserved at least 2 days prior to arrival. No reservations are required to visit the main cave at Carlsbad Caverns. A $6 per person entrance fee applies to the main cave (passes are accepted) and it is open 365 days a year. * A limited number of free tickets are available each day for tours at Independence Hall, the Washington Monument, and at Frederick Douglass. *National Archives must be reserved at least 7 days prior to arrival. *Tour tickets for the Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park must be purchased at least 4 days in advance of arrival. Group Tickets - tickets can be reserved up to 12 months in advance. *Group reservations for the Frederick Douglass must be reserved at least 1 week in advance of arrival.

*Tickets can be reserved up to 6 months in advance, and 7 days prior to arrival, at the National Archives. PoliciesTickets can be picked up at Will Call at all locations with the exception of the National Archives and Voyageurs National Park Tours. Please check your confirmation letter for specific pickup times prior to your tour. Visitors must bring their confirmation letter with them for Voyageurs National Park Tours. *For the Washington Monument, all tickets reserved 10 or more days in advance will automatically be mailed to you. A shipping & handling fee of $2.85 (for orders of 1-9 tickets) and $4.65 (for 10 or more tickets) will be applied to your order. Tickets ordered less than 10 days in advance can be picked up at Will Call at Washington Monument. *Tickets may not be purchased or picked up on site at the National Archives. Recreation.gov billing information: If you paid by bank card, your monthly statement will contain a reservation billing under the name "Recreation Gov 888-448-1474 NY" Please make note of this. If you have questions, please call the toll free number listed above. Change and Cancellation Policy:Changes are allowed on a ticket order at no additional charge. Tour-to-Tour transfers and date changes are allowed within the facility. Changes can be made prior to the reservation cut-off window by calling Customer Service at 888- 448-1474. Upon arrival, tickets may be changed or transferred based on availability. Changing the name on a reservation is considered a cancellation. To transfer a reservation through Customer Service, the caller must be able to verify the name or phone number on the ticket reservation. A cancellation fee of $3.00 per ticket will be charged for all cancellations at Mammoth Cave, Carlsbad Caverns , Fiery Furnace Tour - Arches and Scotty's Castle - Death Valley National Park. The cancellation fee for group sales at Roosevelt-Vanderbilt is $14 per group ticket. All cancellation fees will be deducted from your original payment prior to processing the refund. *Special cancellation fees apply to the following tours at Mammoth Cave (Wild Cave, Introduction to Caving, and the Trog Tours):
You may cancel up to the day before your tour by calling the Call Center at 877-444-6777, or via the Internet at www.Recreation.gov. For Group Sales please call 877-559-6777. No Refund Policy for the Washington Monument, Independence Hall, National Archives, Frederick Douglass, Voyageurs National Park Tours (Within the 1 day minimum window or after tour start time) : The $1.50 fee for all tickets at the Washington Monument, Independence Hall, National Archives and Frederick Douglass is non-refundable. Please note that tour reservations for the Washington Monument and the National Archives cannot be changed or cancelled once the call is over. (shipping and handling fees for the Washington Monument are also non-refundable). Emergency closures: In event of an emergency closure, the NRRS will attempt to notify you and offer alternate dates and tours. Every attempt will be made to reschedule your tour. Please note that the NO REFUND policy for the Washington Monument, Independence Hall, National Archives and Frederick Douglass Home applies regardless of the circumstance for a closure. We apologize for the inconvenience. Confirmation Policy:Full Payment is required at the time a reservation is made for all individual reservations. Confirmation letters are sent via email or by U.S. Postal Service. (Group tours may be booked at Roosevelt-Vanderbilt by paying a non-refundable deposit). Refunds: Refunds must be requested no later than 14 days after your scheduled tour date. Refunds will be posted to your credit card within 48 hours. No refunds will be distributed for no-shows.
Discounts:Owners of the Interagency Senior and Access Passes (and the Golden Age and Access Passes) may receive a 50% discount on the purchase price of a single ticket. The ticket reservation must be in the name of the pass owner and the discount only applies to the ticket issued to the pass owner. The pass, a photo ID, and the reservation number must be presented when the customer picks up tickets at the facility. Changes to the Policies and Procedures: The NRRS™ reserves the right when necessary to modify reservation policies.
