Wolf Creek Trailhead

Forested trailhead gives access to Wolf Creek Trail #527 within Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness.

From Winthrop drive State Route 20 to bridge crossing Methow River on south end of town. Cross the Methow River bridge and turn right onto Twin Lakes Road (county road 9120). Drive 1.5 miles and turn right onto Wolf Creek Road (county road 1131). Drive 4.5 miles, turn right onto graveled Left Fork Wolf Creek Road (county road 1145) drive 0.25 mile and go straight onto graveled Forest Service Road 5505 and follow road about 4.5 miles, turn to left downhill to the signed Wolf Creek trailhead.
