From Twisp, WA take twisp River Road (Forest Road 44) west for about 10 miles. Then go left on W Buttermilk Creek Road and follow E Buttermilk Creek Road (Forest Road 43) to the left and follow for about 3 miles. Then go right on the 500 spur road and stay on spur road 500 for 2.2 miles.
