Moonflower Canyon Camping Area, UTBureau of Land Management
OverviewLocated 3.5 miles from the junction of Highway 191, Moonflower features 8 walk-in tent sites. The sites are well-shaded and offer privacy. The camping area is within the Behind the Rocks Wilderness Study Area (WSA). Campsites are available on a first-come, first served basis.
Moonflower Canyon is $10 per vehicle per night and has 8 designated campsites. There is no water available; however the campground is only 3.5 miles from Moab where numerous sources are available. Directions:From the center of Moab (at Center and Main) head south to Kane Creek Road. Tturn right (west) on Kane Creek Road and drive 3.5 miles. You will see the Moonflower Campground on the left just past the King's Bottom Campground.![]() |
