Overview

This is a free site with 6 campsites at 7,200 foot elevation with vault toilet, day use parking, and a foot trail to wade fishing. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring/grill at most sites, parking space, and no pull-throughs. The main attraction at this site is fishing and floating on the North Platte River. An abundance of wildlife can be found in the area. Typical use season is from June 1st through November 15th depending on winter conditions.

Directions:

From I-80, take Wyo 130 & Wyo 230 south aprx 38 miles to Riverside, take Wyo 230 east for 4 miles. Turn left on County Rd 660 for 12 miles on graveled road to Bennett Peak Rd (BLM Rd 3404) and follow it for 6 miles to the campground.
