This is a fee site. There are 18 developed accessible campsites and some can accommodate large recreational vehicles. There are vault toilets, water, garbage collection and each site has a fire rings and picnic table. The neighborhood around this campground may seem quiet now, but in years past, this area was booming and densely populated with miners seeking gold, uranium, and other minerals. Great day trips from this area into the Wind River Mountains and around the various mining ghost towns. Campground is closed early November to early June due to weather conditions.
